APRDA Holiday Programs<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

During most school holidays, APRDA holds a holiday program. This program is suitable for young children (4+), beginner riders. We have a range of programs held in one week of the school holidays. If\/when a holiday program is advertised you will see it here on this page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

APRIL 2022 Holiday Program\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Monday 4th April – Wednesday 13th April\u00a0<\/i><\/span><\/h3>\n

Our Holiday programs are run by qualified RDA\/Equestrian Coaches and supported by trained volunteers. The sessions are targeted towards beginners and no previous experience is required. All participants are encouraged to wear a shirt with sleeves and a collar, with long pants for the riding aspects of the program. Helmets and riding boots are available to loan on the day. Participants are required to bring their own morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a drink bottle.<\/p>\n

Please Note<\/strong>: \u00a0<\/em>APRDA riding weight limit is 75 kg<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to popular demand and fairness to all participants we are limiting bookings to a MAX of 1<\/u> Holiday Program Session<\/strong> per person. \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Have a Horse for a Day<\/em><\/strong> 9:00am-3.<\/em><\/strong>00pm\u00a0 \u00a0BOOKED OUT<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Come and have your very own horse for the day, learn the theory and practise of how to care for your horse. Participants will have the opportunity to learn new horsemanship skills and will enjoy two riding sessions. AGE 10+ MUST<\/span> be an Independent Rider\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuesday 5th April<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Horse Experience Morning\u00a0\u00a09:00 am-12:00 pm\u00a0 BOOKED OUT\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/em><\/p>\n

Come for the morning and learn how to care for your horse, learn new horsemanship skills and enjoy the opportunity to ride your horse in the arena or in the bush (weather permitting for bush riding) AGE 7+<\/strong><\/p>\n

Trail\/Bush Riding\u00a0 Afternoon 1:00pm- 4;00pm\u00a0 \u00a0 BOOKED OUT<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

A great opportunity for children to experience riding. Children will have the opportunity to groom and prepare their horses, before jumping in the saddle to experience a pony ride.\u00a0 AGES 4-8yrs<\/strong><\/p>\n
