VOLUNTEERING

At Arundel Park we depend on volunteers to make our centre run. No experience with horses or riders is necessary as training is given. Our friendly team will always help and supervise new volunteers.

The rewards of volunteering in Riding for the Disabled are immeasurable and radiate from the smiles, expressions of delight and enthusiasm expressed by our riders and clients.

Our volunteers come aged from teens to octogenarians and are involved in many different parts of our centre.

The roles of our volunteers are wide and varied, they including:

Horse leading

Side walking

Horse handling

Tacking & Grooming

Maintenance

Gardening

Fundraising

Office Administration

Committee members

Coaching

And if you are keen to branch out into a new field, we have highly trained Coaches to mentor and train you in most areas of interest.

All volunteers at Arundel Park need to have a Blue Card (over 18 years) and a Criminal History Screening Card (over 14 years.)

Please call our office and organise to view a class and complete
your forms.
